DreamHack have just announced that fnatic will miss DreamHack Masters Malmö due to Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer's condition, as he has injured his arm and will be recovering in the coming weeks.

In the past few weeks a number of players have sustained an arm or wrist injury, such as Ladislav "⁠GuardiaN⁠" Kovács and Olof "⁠olofmeister⁠" Kajbjer, whose fnatic exited in the quarter-finals of MLG Columbus following a stunning loss to Astralis.

Earlier today the we reported on the former pondering over skipping DreamHack Masters Malmö to recover, but it is fnatic who announce missing the $250,000 event, officially.

olofmeister's injury forces fnatic to withdraw from DH Masters Malmö

According to a statement for DreamHack, it is uncertain how serious olofmeister's injury is or how long it will take to recover from it, as he will be seeing a specialist in the coming days.

Jesper "⁠JW⁠" Wecksell's Tweet also reveals that the team is looking for a replacement who will stand in for olofmeister during his recovery.
